Hi all At my wits end now still no comm with eas , how can i check if obd socket is ok or anything else i can check

Take the dash panel off and check the obd connection wiring....they suffer corrosion quite badly

So, tell us if you are using the EAS software from RSW, if so, I assume you are also using a USB to serial adaptor or a USB lead fom Ebay? If you are and are using Vista it may well be a driver problem for the USB.
 
Hello no cable is from you Datatek i am getting a old lap top tomorrow running xp pro so fingers crossed it works . will be using the rsw software

Oops, can never remember who has one of mine. Most likely it's a problem with the USB drivers.
Make sure you have the correct driver for the USB to serial adaptor loaded before you plug the adaptor into the PC.
