Swapping ECU requires height calibration becasue the two ECU will have different target heights. Read all the Stored & Actual heights from the ECU you are using & post them here. Then we can tell if you need to calibrate it.

Did you check the valve block for leaks after doing the refurb ?

Take a good look at Post #26 above. This shows how the pump should behave after a valve block refurb and height calibration.

This is McGorsky's before the refurb. Notice the pump (blue line) is running almost continuously, whilst the Inlet & exhaust valves (orange & grey) are opening & closing quite a lot. Continuous adjustments like this indicate calibration errors.

Thanks. Yes, I checked for leaks and didn't find any. I'll ask my friend that has a faultmate and the software to check the stored and actual heights.
I still have the EAS software disc and leads I bought from Datatek about 10 years ago but need to buy a cheap laptop.
 
Check the live data on the sensors for twitching in the readings. Any glitching from a reading it could be sensor plugs or a sensor could be faulty.
You can bench test these also, slowly moving a sensor through its range while connected to a DVM can reveal bad spots on a sensor track👍 I've had two that were worn around the standard height level.

Not had chance yet to check the height readings/calibration. Actually doing some welding on it around the rear mounts and the lower bar/crossmember...thought these didn't rust!
 
Finally finished the welding...who said P38's don't rot! Anyway, connected it to the EAS software and took these photos. They don't mean much to me but hoping they do to some of you. Thanks

Last picture does show "good idle". Assuming those height values are after doing "Get Sensor Heights", they show the car is either slightly tilted down on front right, or there's not enough air to raise it ?

Get the Good Idle status first, and then read the stored values again.
 
Thanks for the replies, I'll have another go tomorrow. I did use 'get heights', hadn't realised it wasn't on 'good idle'. I took this picture of the faults when on 'good idle'.

What could cause that? Would it help if it was recalibrated?
Use the diagnostics to send it to wade height, then drop it to normal height and see what you get. The readings are not far of the calibration figures so I suspect all is OK.
 
Were the doors open or closed when you did the screenshots ? It will only adjust if all doors are closed, and Target & Actual are more than a few bits out, but can't remember how many !!

Yeah, doors were closed. First photo when put to high, second when normal.
