I have a 1997 P38 Range Rover, I've been constantly having problems with my suspension, for no reason my suspension just goes bonkers. The last all four lights came on and the symbol for off road setting, plus MAX 35MPH.
I have the lead to remove the fault, but I'm having problems getting a 'Good Idle' I get a slight flicker of Green but stays mainly Red, I'm finding the right Comms 3.
Please Help

Also worth checking the connectors in behind the kick panel in the passenger footwell. The EAS diagnostic lines go through there and if they corrode over time, then that can cause bad idle and communications problems too.

Also make sure that you have the proper drivers installed for the cable - I know a lot of USB to Serial adapters will install with generic windows drivers, but then don't work properly. Once the proper drivers are installed, then that can clear up problems too.

If you've had it working before, then as above, try a different USB port, and look in the device manager to see which one it's using, to be able to set the EAS unlock software to make sure it's trying to use the same one as plugged into.

If that all checks out, then it comes back to the vehicle wiring - either the kick panel connectors, or the OBD socket itself giving a bad connection
