Can anyone recommend a good way of bending the eas pipes?
I am having to change the front left bag pipe and is difficult to get it to go straight in collets
Ta much

They're plastic aren't they? How far along do you need the bend?
My first try would be to plug the end (to keep dry) then dunk into some hot water straight from the kettle to soften

Needs the bend about 3 inches from end. Not sure how to ensure pipe doesnt collapse

Not sure if I have any thick enough but could try just putting finger over end to let air pressure keep it open?

If it's going to kink, i don't think any air pressure you could hold with your thumb would help. Sounds a bit dicey to me!

I replumbed the whole of mine straight off a coil of industrial type tubing for not much money. Put a pressure guage in line for the receiver. Never even considered the need for bending as such. Had to be creative with ties. There are connectors, bends and Tees available if you really want to plumb it tidily.

I would use my tube bender i use for brake and fuel lines. Heat it up area of bend til pliable and use bender remove when cool..

Pipes dont really need bent just the original ones are
Thanks for all your replies
I dont have a bender so will probably just leave them straight

Now that looks a handy piece of kit. Could do brake lines too,
Think I will get one
Thank you

As an addition, where do the wires from the sensors go?
Direct to ECU under passenger seat?
I think I need to clean the contacts.

The usual place for EAS contact problems is the large white connector at the base of the nearside a post behind the plastic panel. Removing the connector and soldering the wires, protecting with heat shrink cures a multitude of problems.

Thanks datatek, I thought those wires were for the switch and the electronic thingy beside the valve block. I think I will be doing that as soon as rain stops
