Well a bit sad that you think like that, some of us see it as an imrovement inc my local garage and as I said mine drives great, Oh and of course this forum is not littered with EAS problems because it is so reliable and there are loads of places to get them sorted and no complaints about putting them somewhere to get sorted and them not having a clue. Never been described as lazy before, I am a strong believer in a fair days work for a fair days pay but keep the blinkers on, looks like you think that you are always right.
TO FINISH IF I GOT ANOTHER P38 I WOULD CHANGE TO COILS STRAIGHT AWAY, MY CAR-MY CHOICE and could not care if you think its lazy. I want to drive mine and not be underneath it.
Met Red 97 2.5 DT Auto on Coils and its great.;
Pity the small minded

woooHooooooooo, bitchy bitchy... :multiply: its a fact that people dont look after the EAS components as they should, they wait until theres a problem then winge about it, then they send their vehicals to cowboys for repair and get ripped off,:frusty: check my earlier reply and you will see the price to repair is quite cheap, if you cant afford to have repairs then ur probrably more suited to a fiesta or kia lol, its about personal preferance but if every 1 is honest most ive spoke to like their conversion but would still rather have the EAS working. Perhaps you would be better off with a shogun or an isuzu as they dont have the finess of Electronic Air Susspension!
Each to there own tho
.

No need to get all wound up, it was a tongue in cheek comment. Did you not detect that by the presence of the smileys. Most of the problems on here are not caused by the vehicles being unreliable, but by shoddy maintenance. Any machine needs to be maintained to give it's full potential. With the P38 being high end the parts to keep them running and maintain them properly cost lots of cash. But people who would not be able to have an high end motor otherwise, buy them second hand and try to maintain them on the cheap. Nothing wrong with that, but it does lead to a use until it breaks syndrom. Many vehicles are not in the full flush of youth and may have had an hard time. I can see your point of view, that it is one less worry, but i prefer to keep mine as it should be. :):):)

Just wondering if there is not something small minded about someone who would change to coils even if the EAS was working. Just a thought.:cool::cool::cool:

looks like you think that you are always right.

No not at all, it is after all a matter of opinion, you cannot have a discussion without a counter arguement. There is no point in a discussion if both parties agree. But then again if i agreed with you, we would both be wrong so again no discussion could take place. :):):)

Ok guys, I appoligise for spitting the dummy, fact is I replaced my 2.5 Pajero (underpowered) with the rangie as a workhorse to tow the boat, all I'm really saying is that I like the car and if it was younger I might have retained the EAS but would hate to get stuck with deflated suspension miles from home, the coils just make one less problem. Fully aware of running costs of a 4 x 4 as a fully paid up member of the pajero cracked head and blown turbo club. Also run an Alfa so have some mercy. And I don't like IZUSI's, but as I said earlier if we all wanted reliability we would all have Landcruisers, I like the Rangie, it looks good and runs great, it also tows the boat with ease.
Sorry for being touchy but I like the coils and they work for me and I would definatly do the same again, Ive driven both so those who have not maybe you should try it and see.
As long as we keep them Alive !! Davie

No problems Davie mate. You had an Alfa you should be cannonised pal a saint you are for sure. The only vehicle make on Earth dipped in the dead sea before final paint. :welcome2: don't forget everybody gets ribbed on here even us old farts from time to time. You learn to roll with the punches. You have obviously not met up with the Claw yet.

Confused ,:confused:And what does that mean? and i dont mean the ****witt bit.

EAS system on range rover if left with intermittent faults will hard fault eventually and suspension will not rise. unless people enjoy riding on bump stops-first sign of a fault you need to fix.

EAS KICKER is worth knowing about also.

Take it as banter, like the T4, I'm looking after a T4 california vr6 204hp 38,000 mile-take it out once a week
