Hi all
A couple of issues have cropped up, first one I've just ignored, i know that's not the right attitude but didn't seem to be a problem
Wondering if the 2 issues are related
Firstly, the system levels when the doors etc are open. The becm knows there open but the eas doesn't receive the signal
Secondly, the eas intermittently hunts until the pump kicks in and we have a game pump then hunt. This happens at all height options apart from access, click click click, small adjustments.
The fact it happens at all heights, suggests to me it's unlikely to be a dodgy height sensor, more likely a connection into the eas ecu? Is that the first thing to check and do i need to disconnect the battery before unplugging the eas ecu? Or can i just pull the relevant fuses and relays
It's been damp inside so connections could well be a problem, touch wood everything else seems ok
Cheers

Ok.
I am not going to commit a fuse can be pulled until I consult ..........;)

good luck somebody will be along soon with some useful advise:eek::)

Apart from fix the window and sunroof

I'd be making sure the connections clean and dry, this includes the white connector at the pax (UK) A pillar area too.

Behind the side kick panel.

But @Saint.V8 would you do this battery still connected?

J
No, there is potential for the EAS to go into fault....you could *maybe* disconnect the EAS delay timer from under the pax seat to disable the EAS from powering up but this *may* not prevent the EAS from detecting errors....it *should*, as the EAS ECU will be in a state as if the battery was disconnected I believe...but without looking at the wiring diagrams at the moment, I don't know is ther eis another power source to the ECU including this one from the delayu timer.

Mine was playing up along with the pixels on the heating panel but I think it’s damp related I’m waiting for a dehumidifier to arrive and see what that resolves

You might be right. It shouldn't level with doors or tailgate open. The only thing I can think of is the EAS computer itself ... Although, if you replace the delay timer relay with a standard automotive relay, does it still do it?

Unless you know what you are doing, disconnect the battery if you are going to cut out the white connectors.
You can unplug the EAS ECU without disconnecting the battery.
I'll start with checking the connections to the ecu, then move to finding the white plug. I'd prefer to fix that rather than cut and splice
