thinking about doing the seals on the valve block and compressor on 1995 dse but have a couple of questions

where do i get the correct kit from there are that many out there not sure what i need

how difficult are they to do im quite heavy handed read wammers how to and to say the least im a bit nervous that il screw it up

I got mine from this guy on eBay - symlisep38parts. Bought the kit including the compressor. I'd replaced the airbags but confirmed the compressor wasn't good following Wammers checks. Not difficult and lots of videos on the net. Haven't done the valve block but as long as you take your time and keep track of all the bits doesn't look difficult.

Symblise is the best place, but I think you'll have to get the diaphragm valve seals separately as I don't think they are included in the standard kit of parts!! Someone may correct me!

I'm a novice but i did mine a few months ago without any problems. One tip i would give would be not to use cotton wool buds to clean anything out. On my first plunge and twist the bud came off the end of the stick deep in the heart of the block. It took me ages to blow into the correct hole (while blocking a few others up) to get it out. Gave me a heart attack.

Personally mine didn't need cleaning inside the chambers. very little dirt gets in there. Any problems seem to arise from the degradation of the rubber 'o' rings and surface muck around the seals. If you've got to go in. just make sure the woolen buds are securely fastened to the stick.

White deposits from the air dryer breaking up are the worst problem to clean. I think the yanks recommend sticking the block in the dishwasher. I just stuck the last one in hot water with some biological washing powder and left it overnight. Rinsed and blew out with the air line and left in the warm to dry thoroughly.

Holy **** i opened the packet with the seals in  never knew there were that many to do now im bricking it :D

how do you get rid of the pressure in the system ???

With the EAS Unlock Software there is an option to depresurize...

Without it, Lower Vehicle to Access Height and pull the Airbag pipes from the Valve Block....

For the tank, Get underneath and VERY CAREFULLY AND VERY SLOWLY undo the drain plug on the tank, turn until you start getting a release fo air and leave it there until you get no more air, then undo a tiny amount further until you get some more air out...repeat until tank is empty....

For fecks sake don't just blindly undo it as it will shot out like a fecking rocket!
