Been leaving the old girl for a week or so without using her and I have started to have this little problem (Twice) happened both times about a mile away from home. EAS just goes into high sits there until I push the lock drop her back down. Read a few post and this suggests renew the seals in the valve block.

It was freezing this morning, could it have been water (Frozen) causing the valve to stick? Height hadn't moved since yesterday overnight usually takes a few days to lower down, and usually works without fault.

Bet its the weather and not using her as much, the amount of condensation in her is unbelievable.

Sort out the leaks and get rid of the condensation before it cooks the BECM.
As for your EAS, part and re-make the connectors a few times in the EAS box, in particular the ones under the valve block, a little contact cleaner would also help, NOT WD40!
 
She is drying out under a heater in our garage at work at the moment. I don't think I have any leaks anywhere. I am going to check the aircon drains out to make sure they arn't blocked. Carpets are all dry, its just the windows get covered, got to come from moist air because of all the rain.

Will try the connections under the compressor.

No condensation in mine even with all the rain since I fixed the leaks:D

Don't know what post you have read that suggests that. But the poster did not know what he was on about. Not very likely to be valve block more like a miss signal from height change switch caused by a bad connection on white multiplug behind panel L/H side of passenger footwell.
 
Cheers for all the info, I checked the connections all look ok on the EAS.

Found a damp spot, It is right near the door, under BECM shroud, stuck my hand under the carpet and it drys as you get further under towards aircon drain point. So I don't think it is them? they are clear also.

It is still a bit damp by the door pillar however behind it is dry, the fan where the duct/pollen filter is dry also. I am thinking possibly a door seal.

Any other ideas. I will have to get the hose out on the weekend and see if I can find any problems

Is there a way to clean them out without removing all the plastic from below the windscreen?

Screw in plastic panel below windscreen, directly above pollen filter. Took me months to sus this out, silicone over the top of screw, has been bone dry since.

Think you are right mate, the pollen filter drains are ok. They where both clear. I am thinking now only thing is that little screw fits in the steel cover above. The one the wiper pokes through. Removed plastic cover and there is a pool mark around it.

Removed, cleaned, siliconed, wait and see.

Did change the matrix and o-rings last year, scars to proove it.
 
re the eas high setting. Tucked under the pipes that go to the bags on the eas block is a little cylinder that screws into the block. Its the exhaust for the air from the block. Unscrew it off close bonnet and get back in car. If the car goes up and down a lot faster then it must be blocked. Had this problem twice as i think the dryer is breaking up.
If the eas cannot exhaust it throws a fault and sometimes goes on high setting

Mine like to go to the high mode now and then , it was the driver in the valve block playing up, well i had a spare and put that on and it hasn't done it since.
