BECM issue i would think it is that which inhibits EAS operation with doors ajar.
 
Thanks for the input people. Yes the EAS is not disabled with any doors open ? The other clue that may help is interior lights will sometimes not turn off also even with the lights disabled on the dash ie interior lights off ! Any more ideas please ? Before i dismantle the BECM

As said before, door lock mechanism/ microswitch, or wet carpets.
 
Forget the EAS ECU, it's just responding to a signal from the BECM.
Just start by checking for wet carpet in the drivers footwell, then go on to check the door micros witches.
 
They are not supplied separately, you will have to find a drivers door lock with the motors burnt out, there should be plenty about
