Hi All,
Not been on for a while due to other priorities.
I have a problem with my daily driver 2002 4.6 Vogue Auto.
I have rebuilt the EAS Valve block and I think its leaking.
The car is lowering at the back over night and front staying at standard height.
When I set it to access it lowers to the stops over night.
On start up it pretty much goes up to access height so tank not leaking.
Tested for leaks and does not appear any at the output lines.
Are there any files on the fault finding procedures?

Thee are recent posts on the subject. Check if there is air escaping from the
valve block exhaust. A search on EAS will bring up lots of threads.
 
Datatek, is that the port with the screw in noise supressor?
just going out with the Nanocom to get the air out the system, disconect the output lines, shamfer the ends and reinstall, see if this works?

Yes it's the exhaust silencer.
Careful cutting back the pipes, there is a raised collar that will prevent full insertion if the pipes are shortened by much. Spray soapy water round the collets, if no bubbles, no need to touch the pipes. A very light smear of silicone grease helps the pipes go in. If no silicone, vaseline will do.
 
OK been out and chamfered one pipe as it was a bit 'chewed'
Exhaust does not appear to be leaking.
What I have at the moment is; suspension sitting around 10-20mm too high at the front, compressor kicking in and out every 30 seconds or so, Live data on the Nanocom stating front left is stting too high at 10mm too high on Nanocom, all the rest are bob on +- 2-3mm.
I think new ride height sensors are needed as they sometimes come up as a fault code.
Can I adjust the ride height with the nanocom?

Initial issue with the block was car would not raise up, I think the metal disc valve seal was to blame, very rusty and corroded.

Vaseline should not be used on the O rings inside the valve block, it attracts dirt.
 
You can do it with nanocom but its easier with blocks then use nanocom to read heights and save you can only increase or decrease a couple of bits at a time

Much quicker with a measuring stick and the RSW EAS software. No climbing about under the car to fit & remove blocks, no moving car up to release blocks etc etc.

I have a spare air block from my Prototype M246CVC, I will just fit this then I will know to investigate issues since I have 'overhauled' the air block on the car now.
It threw a wobbler leaving work this afternoon - would not raise from the stops and after a reset with Nano threw another wobbler while driving to my LPG repairer mmmm happy days haha - Oh the joys!!

Random faults can be caused by the driver pack. You don't say what he faults were.
 
OK before I overhauled the block I had the spare one from the 94 fitted as the Gold 2002 was refusing to lift.
Last week while we had the deluge of rain I overhauled the 2002 block.
Fitted the 'overhauled' block and Intial fault was rear end going down with front staying up when parked overnight left at standard height but it would lift back up straightaway upon start up - less than 10 seconds.
When parked and lowered to access height the car was virtually on the stops and very low rear left.
Today I experienced a hard fault and drove home on the stops.
At home connected Nano and cleared faults.
All was well this evening then the car went into hard fault at motorway setting, stayed there until I connected the Nano and now is back to standard height at the LPG repair man.

As said I will refit 94's block and see if she stays settled - should have the 2002 back on Saturday.

Sounds as if the block refurb needs to be rechecked if the sytem worked fine with the 94 one. Sometime a dodgy sensor doesnt help as it can give duff info to the ECU. Using the nano is there an obvious discrepancy between bit count ( across an axle) and physical height? I was chasing a levelling issue that ended up needing me to replace the two rear sensors and then play a bit with the pre-set bit counts...in short, if your sensors are not replaced in axle pairs you may struggle
 
romarob, I have had faults indicating rear and front height sensors out of range - looks like new sensors need buying, they are the originals.
The air tank is obviously holding air, would it maybe a stuck or faulty NRV 2 looking at the diagrams?
 
I have just read wammers technical article about testing/checking block and compressor.
I will go thru this when I get Gold back from LPG repair - LPG refill pipe is leaking - not good!

A dodgy driver pack will cause exactly those sort of faults.
I have never had a problem replacing individual height sensors.

Datatek, I will swap the driver pack first.
