The invoices from the garage up north don't show the error codes and I can't raise the garage owner at the moment.

Just on the off chance, I dropped in to my local garage. They have the Solus kit and can look at the issue. Just to make some headway, I might ask them to look at the error codes, although they don't fill me with confidence. I guess any idiot can plug a diagnostic tool in and look at the results.

so, error codes as below:

F801 FL Signal incorrect
F804 FR Signal incorrect
F810 RL Signal incorrect
F840 RR Signal incorrect

F904 Pressure sensor signal constantly high.

The garage 'thinks' that the suspension wasn't calibrated properly when the new airbags were put in.

Can I get the benefit of your wisdom please?

There is no need to recalibrate suspension when you fit new airbags. You really do need someone who knows what they are doing to read faults and examine system.

That lot suggests the compressor is not making enough pressure or the pressure is disappearing through a leak:) As Wammers said the system does not need to be calibrated when airbags are changed although it is possible to damage the height sensors when doing it but it is unlikely that all 4 would be damaged.
You need to clear the faults and re-read them to be sure you have an accurate list of faults.

I've done about 100 miles today and the fault hasn't recurred so I can't see the fault yet. i guess I'll wait for the cables and read it myself when they come.

Dopey, I'm near Kingston, Surrey.

OK there's a guy near Hatton X he and independent, and that's all he works on it Land Rovers

You don't happen to know who/where that is do you...I work near Hatton Cross, and it would be good to keep his/her contact details to hand.....

give us a clue Dopey! For pities sake! At least the first initial of the name, or give us 100 road names and we'll have some fun searching :D

To the knowledgeable ones: I don't suppose the EAS issue could be flat battery related? The first time it came on, the car had been standing for three weeks. The last time, it was reluctant to turn over.

Low volts cause all sorts of problems with the ECU's but not usually the EAS, but you never know:)
