seems permanently stuck in up ...no response when down button pressed,,i have recently changed air spring but was ok for week..it works correct then when settled goes into up and stays there

compressor keeps running and rr up in air no response from dash switches,,could it be height sensors ,how do i check?

This condition could be due to several possible problems. The best course of action is to have the fault codes read. It is possible to have the fault codes read at home with some software and a special made cable. Please spend some time on the website;
Range Rover EAS Reset Tools

At first consideration, sounds like your vehicle is either in "soft fault" mode or is in the "High Center" mode. Typically the symptoms you describe can be attributed to a stuck exhaust valve or failing EAS Driver Pack. Under normal operation, both will eventually lead to a full blown EAS Fault. An EAS Fault can only be cleared by an external diagnostic tool. I sell these tools and have made the software freely avaliable.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Hi Storey,thanks for response,yes i have searched the website,and i have watched all your you tube stuff,,i did buy a cable and bought software,however it just keeps coming up error with netframe,,ive downloaded latest netframe and maybe it will work now,,is it possible to look at EAS unlock without being plugged into car,i see in your tips that you did on bench,i just wandered .Car driving me crazy ,started this morning and no problem ,stays up all night so no leaks....if height sensor stuck would that cause high ride position .Thanks again

On an american site I found forum that spoke of faulty relay,relay stays closed causing constant running of compressor,,i believe this is my problem and have renewed eas relay in main fuse box..it was evident that when the relay got hot it also remained contact made, not allowing any deflation or levelling ..hopefully job done

Well guess what, I’ve got the same fault. Stuck in extended mode, all 4 lights lit on the switch and ‘EAS Fault’ on the dash, came on whilst driving. Had the faults read and ‘inlet valve permanently open’ came up. I’ve disconnected and check all height sensors with a Ohmmeter and all show the same smooth action when moved by hand, (had the out of range error code cleared after that). Discovered a corroded wire in the loom about 9’’ from the ECU (3 red blue wires joined together) made good that joint.
Ok for a month but then got in one morning and same fault
Q1 how does the ECU detect valves stuck open? Could it be that? Any other suggestions?

Read Mr Wilsons excellent site, tried to download the software buy file won’t open, speaking to Storey now:confused:
