Same for diesel timing chain stretch, injection pump and of course the margarine cylinder head problem ;)

Don't see many cylinder heads gone really but chain-stretch is an issue for hot-start. FIP ideally refurbed after 120k but it will keep going regardless. I've still not done my chains and it isn't much worse on modulation.

Get the modulation spot on at 50% with the engine at 95C and all the hot start problems go away:D I have one on 136K miles and one on about 250K kilometres and the FIP's are fine.:D:D:D
