'Ow Much!!' at that price plus the £500 subscription, a DA-ST512 with the 'apps pack' would make much more sense for a workshop - realistically, it's very rare to be manipulating the CCF or coding modules in a service & repair operation. If that were needed then a version of SDD with an engineering code generator using the Diagnostic Associates as a J2534 pass-through would give full coverage.

I have had the Company’s diagnostic reply and it’s a little confusing as they think I haven’t sorted out what my problem is .

C1A0054 Dynamic response control module
New control module
Configure the new module using the approved diagnostic system

I replied with saying that there was no replacement ecu , all was working before ,I had fitted a new sensor because how does one configure on GAP even if it’s a new one . I have ordered a used one meantime .

That seems to be a 'diagnose the DTC, not the problem' type of response. Not at all helpful IMO.

An update

I have had several helpful instructions from the GAP team.

To cut out everything from Module Calibration to CCF files which the AR Control module seemed to be inactive , so made active and the red Roll light disappeared and fault cleared , Since that this morning I recalibrated the suspension heights and it would not complete ending up with Error 5. I have since sent this back to Gap . Getting somewhere as no red light but module still missing info as the original code is back , further work required.

Quietly confident that Dynamic Roll is fine now , but new rear left height sensor too low . I have used the guided cal twice but it errors out . This is because the module was not active in the ecu info . Once activated . It cleared the dash light anti roll symbol . All lights are behaving themselves, and Mot passed for now . Will try guided height again 😉

To be honest, sometimes the bracket needs 'realigning' - send it down to access, up to offroad then back to normal between each 'tweak' - they can twist by a few millimetres when you remove the bolts if there's any corrosion, it looks OK but 2-3mm on the bracket can be ten times that between the wheel arch and centre

So the light is still off on dash and Mot , passed . Height onthe rear offside still low after guidance set up and E0 shows up on guidance. Incefently the original fault code still comes up C1A00-54 . I have since re-enabled after this an re activated standard build mode . The vehicle rose to off road then when activated standard build it dropped to standard ! Fickle I say , will monitor !

I am beginning to wonder whether the Brittpart is incompatible with the other sensors assuming the rest are genuine L/R. I had this problem on an L322 AND Aftermarket ABS sensors bought from Rimmers no less, as soon as I replaced them with L/R sensors all the issues I had disappeared.

I've seen new britpart height sensor which was DOA and realised after a long and hard troubleshooting on the SLS wiring on a D2 cos i didnt think this can happen so you might have a point here about that particular sensor which makes tricks... if it's not too hard swap the two rear sensors over and if the fault goes to the other side then you know

Hmm , might try that , but would only be a visible difference as unless of course I look at live values on GAP iid . I seem to remember that when I originally fitted this sensor it sent back a different value than the rest of originals. So I will have another look at all four.
By the way DOA? Sorry!

I considered swapping sides but I was risking destroying the nearside rear as the one I have just replaced did not want to undo and screws had to be cut.
So I carried out guidance height on GAP and simply level offside while sitting in the drivers seat on my ramp and Appllied the result . It couldnt complete as before and came up with E0 , which I think means Error. Then re- enable RLM Suspension and went and Activated Build Mode as Standard, the vehicle rose to Offroad . Its purely an acceptance command , however TO CONTINUE it dropped back to standard and has remained at a level height for over a hundred miles so far !!

I still think its the sensor calling for different levels which I think I have overridden.
