He’s not actually said if they all read the same (V5) but maybe we don’t need to look at that can of worms :eek:;).

I had also heard (could have been while I was asleep) that chassis manufactures could stamp a chassis number prior to galvy, Not sure how much truth or how legal that is? But worth asking on ordering.

The galv will cover the numbers & wont show.
That’s why I had some identification welded on the chassis & bulkhead before galvanising ;)

All the numbers matched the V5 perfectly, I assumed that was obvious. From your comment I assume that’s a “can of worms” you’ve experienced.

I have not but many people have.
Here they dont look at the vin plate they look at the chassis stamp it has to match or you wont get it registered.
