I need to replace the rear uj on the front prop but need to do it at work and need the disco to get there. Would I be fine to drive it over the weekend without the front prop?

Yeah will be fine as long as it's in difflock as said above. Just take it easy :)

ive done it with a 300tdi,id advise you sort it out as soon as you can,i got waylayed wth other things, then had to drive to Preston and shot my gearbox out allover the m6 !!!!:attention::mil77:

driving on one prop wouldnt effect gear box or transfer box ,however many miules you did ,but it is putting all the torque through one axle ,which series lrs do anyhow as std with weaker diff

Yeah it's just not perhaps a great idea to put all the torque through the CVs in the front.

Just take it steady off the line, be reet.

apart from its the front he's removing.

got me 0.1 back......

as above tho, lock the diff an take it easy. i got a bit of extra clunking
in the drivetrain when mine was like that that, just drive accordingly.

Lol, ****ed again! :p:rolleyes:

Had my front prop off for years, makes her a bit harder on the rear donut coupling, but drives fine, Reckon it makes her easier on fuel,

cheers

My 90 clunked a bit as it took up the slack in the drive train but it will be fine, I think it invalidates your insurance though.
