Ok, just a quick bit of advice as I am at work without my copy of RAVE handy....

I went to wind my drivers window up earlier and it would not use the one click function, so I kept my finger on the switch and when it reached the top there was a very load 'clicking' and the window did not stop trying to go up, I assume there is some sort of sensor/switch that knows when it has reached the top?? is this the case and where is it situated please?

The clicking means the teeth on the regulator assembly have gone. There is no sensor, the electronics just senses the increased current draw when the motor stalls at the top. If the teeth have gone to motor doesn't stall so it doesn't sense the end of travel.

Ok makes sense, but why can't I use the one click option ? is this linked into this, I have tried window, up/down/up to reset. but it still won't do it...

It uses the motor stall current to enable the one touch feature.

Well that means a new driver side regulator for me so as I have the same symptoms.

Thank you for the information lads.

He's gotta be GFL surely, I have just choked on my lunch with a vision of Dogsbody clicking his fingers in front of his face, saying in an horrible merkin accent:

"Come on girlfriend, keep up"

And don't try to tel me you're not all hearing that in your heads now!!!
