Just discovered that the mechanical door lock in my drivers door doesn't work.

It rotates quite happily and I can feel the shaft that goes into the lock unit rotate, but doesn't actually do anything lock/unlock wise.

Does anyone know if this is a regular thing, or whether I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and get a new lock mech?

:censored: Yeh I know how you feel mine is like that. I can use the remote control to open the doors no problem but not with the key. It is a common problem by all the accounts on here and other LR forums too. Most people live with the remote control than faff with the task of replacing the lock. It actually a lever connector that break for the key part.

Just wanted to point out that if your battery goes flat you will have to break a window to get in, happened to me last week, dean
