What just happened. Nearly home with a load of heavy slabs in the back of the 110 and I thought I could hear air leaking from the back. Turned the radio down but nothing so carried on. The drive just suddenly locked up and I went into a skid. Once stopped I couldn't move it. I put in low ratio and back and it started to drive as normal (this could be a fluke).

What caused this. ABS, TC, part of the drive? I need to get it checked as I don't want it to happen again as I pooped my pants. Luckily I was only doing 30mph.

Definately pulled to one side as I was fighting a long skid even though I was at a very low speed. After stopping it wouldn't drive at first. I moved it into low then back to high and it drove normally but the ABS/TC warning lights are now on.

The reason I ask is because I had A wheel bearing collapse on me at quite A high speed frightened the crap out of me chucked me out into the carriageway luckily nothing was next to me.
Jack up each corner check for wheel bearing play, if this has happened you will know when you get to the offending wheel, this was on my td5 90.
