Can anyone help me!
I have the L322 range rover 2002.
I have a problem with the sound from the speakers. Or should i say no sound!
I recently had a problem with the head unit blank screen so i replaced the entertainment module. Great sorted!
Or maybe not as i dont have any sound! I get everything ie cd/radio/sat nav.. the orange light is on but no sound.

The head unit or speakers didnt work before i got the new module. So im unsure if something else is shot.
Maybe the amplifier. I have checked the fuses & the 10amp under the radio module all are fine.

Any help is very welcome

Standard answer, any sign of damp in the left side rear quarter behind the trim? Pins corroding off in the connectors is also a problem

Have you looked at all the connectors and pins they suffer from water ingress and go green with corrosion and the pins them self can brake .

Hi thanks for the replys.
I have checked all the plugs & pins & the only ones that have some green corosion are in the amp. I did clean them up now they look fine.
I dont seem to have any damp in there all seems dry
Im pretty sure the amp may have had water in at some point tho witch i think is my problem.
But just wanting to make sure as they arnt cheap but really wanting some music

Did you actually check that all the pins are there?

I have just checked now & no one is missing & it looks like it has been repinned or they have at least tried so i guess thats my problem..

Do you know where i could get one of these amps from for a decent price as they arnt cheap online

I had exactly the same problem with mine and it was the BM54 amp I took it out and sent it to Baris at carphonics, great guy to deal with and very quick service at a reasonable cost, I can highly recommend him and he can do upgrades to them.
