Nice! What did you do about that hole in bulkhead? I’ve just found same one along with rust along the seam join where it’s same height as door stays. I reckon water is dripping in and running along there. It needs a little weld on the back of a pillar. Atleast I’ve doing the worst of bulkhead rust. Very minor compared to a lot

Going to remove dash at some point so I can do a proper job of it - I’m still working through all this madness keeping farmers going so not got time at the moment but it’s on my list

I reckon I got water coming in from top rail edges then dripping down and along the seam. Annoying as got no gas!! I’ve got dash near enough removed now to treat the lot that bulkhead vinyl carpet is a sponge

Hasn’t turned up yet but for a few more quid I brought this kit loads for future uses then too

Me too ripped dash out today thort I only had hole in passenger side-now drivers side too still drive able without dash so no dramas

Hahaha. It’s been leaking, from top rail, onto the door strap and down the seam. So, I’m chopping out seam on both side either side of the trans tunnel. That heater is a bitch to get out isn’t it. I missed the two too bolts so gunna get em tomorrow with bonnet off.
I’m praying my gas man will come out this far to deliver to me! I usually go to them but they’re delivery only

Haven’t got one mate - at first I didn’t want to start one until it had high security (which it now does). I waffle on and my d1 thread is huge so I didn’t do another.
One thing that might help you but you probably already know, if you chop near the door strap or need that section out, there’s a bit of angle with captive nuts in a box within the a pillar/bulkhead cavity. I’ve pulled that out cleaned up behind and tacking back in. 3 no. Spot welds hold on the bulkhead plate around the screw holes to the angle.
Once it’s lined back up and tacked in, you can pre drill your fresh plate and line up the holes.
I’m going to fill the whole section with dinitrol via the grommet hole for the door electrics once all done. I’m also gunna but a bit of cash aside each month for a galv bulkhead that’ll no doubt be required in a couple years. So **** how that inner seam where you’ve got your hole isn’t sealed!
I’ve stuffed dumdum in the edge of top rail and also the joint between the wing and bulkhead that the windscreen valley throws water at.

You have literally done what I have got to do ha hoping to have a proper look this weekend I work in ag fixing jcb and Massey furgusen so wile the country is down on/off work I’m starting to get flat out, on call all weekend too so if I don’t get called on I’ll crack on with the Landy this weekend

Mad isn’t it, I saw it on your heater n knew mine would be same when I realized it was leaking!
Ahh these are kids toys compared to what your used to then. I’m pretty busy and never been so happy to be busy but sick of it being just me n dog at the moment!! Really thankful I got him though! I’m not looking forward to doing drivers side as gotta make sure I don’t fry my alarm etc.
I got a load of silent coat through today. I’m gunna top coat mine and lay it with that, maybe some close cell foam and gut the sponge phone from the carpet/vinyl.
Was your speaker pod inners rotted out?! I gotta make one

Oh and feed some wire through your door wiring so you can fish it. Was a nightmare trying to get that back through after I closed it up.
