On my way home came out of hotel this morning both front doors wont open on fob hear solenoids clunking trying to open but Nada drivers door opens on key fine.
Now have been told that Rover 75 door locks are identical has any one used them as replacments on freelander (half the price of freelander lock).

Secondly seem to remember reading somwhere that on the three door softop once plastic door panel is removed you can cut a small access hole out of door that makes job a whole lot easier has any one done this.
I have time before the ferry tomorow to pick up the 75 door locks if there good for job.
In years of hippo ownership have never had a problem with other than rear door so any advice appreciated

I fitted the 75 locks to my freelander yesterday. Had to do both front doors, drivers side is more fiddly due to the key lock. I managed to find some on ebay that were £16 each. He has lots of them, dont know if im allowed to put the link up?
