Cheers pressbrake. Just sellin a couple of things ready for project funding lol vans gone now just got to buy an engine or truck

Just one more thing how do ya go about gettin insurance for a landy with a cummins engine.

Minis have no problem getting insured with a vtec's, bike engines and all sorts of other things, so as long as your with a specialist that deals in modified vehicles you should be ok.

With my mini, they were only concerned about power increase rather then what was actually in there.

Hi, I look and resd the whole thing; fascinating story and great mechanical lesson. Love it.
Do you think such conversion could be done on any land rover. I have a Defender 110 TD5 which will need a new engine soon.

Yes, though if its a late td5 with the rover rear axle it would be best to swap to salisbury or even better put landcruiser 80 series axles on front and rear

yea 110 has more room in it than the 90... just less refined compared to a Td5... the Cummins is like a big TDi

nice work, i cant see how you coped with the brake vacuum issue.
i work with these engines, and thinking about buying a full bus for the parts i need.
