Chap's and chapesses,
I would like to ask for some of your soundest advise if I may, I have recently bought a p38 2.5 dse, after sorting out all the problems it had for its mot three weeks later I ended up spending another £860 getting it all sorted out. (the clutch fork arm/roll pins went, but I can't take the gear box out at the side of the road so off she went to my mates garage, I got him to do the arm and pins but seen as he had it I asked him to do a new clutch/new oil cooler and pipes/two belts/fuel filter/sump gasket/rocker cover gasket/fuel filter/oil filter/two tyres fitted on and tracking done, I supplied the parts and he done the work all in all for £860 parts and labour I can't complain at that)
However, I have had it back not even two weeks and the immobiliser has gone down not related I know, but sure enough annoying all the same.
So last night after the nice chap from the AA had been and told me the bad news code 027, I was straight on here seeking advice, and have come to the conclusion that my best option would be to set it a light:mil56: ....... I mean buy the black box sync mate which I did and hopefully it should be here tomorrow. If that dose not work what would you do next?? (no I'm not going to set it alight be fore you suggest it.... Not yet I don't quit that easy, maybe next week)
Also I have the dreaded weird battery syndrome from what you guys say on here and what the guy that I bought it off has said it points to the RF box in the back.... Where's the best place to get one of those??
Any help would be fantastic
Many thanks
Tom
