Not the missus, but my daughter does and helps with all of the above.
She has helped with a 200TDi timing belt change and recently with a P gasket change, as well as daily maintenance and servicing.
Not bad with 4 kids .

Yup Mad Hat: a good women is hard to find. The young ones just don't have what it takes. Misses restored her own 1972 mustang, motor, trans, paint everything. Works in her flower garden cuts the grass in the garden. I do the other 3 acres. She's a real peach.:D

Just wondering if people on here have trained their other half up on the ways of the Landrover...?
Can she drive it? If that's what you call sticking her in front of the steering wheel.;)
Can she maintain it? Do you mean put fuel in cos she even struggles with that
Can she fix it up?She did manage to hold a spanner in place for about 15 seconds when I changed the seats over
What about more heavy duty work like timing belt change etc? I don't even get a cup of tea brought out to me.

It could come in handy that more of our partner's know the score with the way's of landrovers than just doing the dishes :)

My Mrs enjoys sitting in the passenger seat but squeals if I go over a stone let alone off road. As far as the other questions go it's a massive no to all of them ... she can't even load the dishwasher!

I wouldn't let mine within 100 ft of mine with a spanner!!

1st time I let her drive it she stuck it into low box then ragged the bolloxs of it while screaming down her phone at me that the "****ing thing won't go over 30"!!!

She fried the top hose, water pump, and cooked the oil, then blamed ME for not telling her to leave the "small gearstick" alone!!

20 chuffin miles in low box revving the nuts off it in every gear!!

Ummmm I am no one's missus and I can drive it (and tow forwards AND backwards, with it), I know how to keep an eye on oil, water, tyre pressures, screen wash and if I had an OH (pref one not scared of dirt ) then I'd know how to do more, as I'd expect (well, kinda hope) to be shown how to do other stuff :D

 make ya mind up you had a OH last week :D

dont think my missus knows how to open the bonnet.... she will drive the disco if she has to ... teenage dauhter did ask the other day if insuring her on the disco would be much more than the 306..... when i tried to show the mrs how to change a wheel, she asked what did i think mobile phones were for.

does any woman know how to load a dishwasher properly? ive yet to find one that can understand that putting similar shaped dishes together means you get more in.......brother in law reckons that his restacking of the dishwasher was even brought up at his divorce hearing.

I know there is a certain female member on here that can do her bit on a landy ... goes by the name of zan79.... sadly for you single guys on here she is now taken i believe. :D

Mine fookin doesn't!! She goes mental when I start moving stuff around in there so I can fit all the ****e on the counter in as well!!

I reckon she'l bring it up in our divorce hearing (when she finaly gets round to setting me free!!)

Can yu not have an OH and still be no ones "missus"?
Or would it be sexist to assume that you are not "property"
