Do you actually know what your talking about? They stopped US production as they needed to be upgraded with airbags and side impact and given that they hardly sold in the US they simply pulled production. A defender in standard from is very hard to roll over, steel chassis and ally body means low center of gravity, they are famous for the amount of sideways lean you can get with them due to this, even lifted they are not the easiest things to roll... basically your talking ****...
I dont have fixed designs so you can have what you want, I think there is some pics on d4x4 forum floating about
Average Joe's don't know **** about building a proper roll age. I'd be worried about your crushing if thats the way you go about business

I think you read that a bit literally, he wouldn't build an unsafe cage, just one to what best suits the customers needs...
