Hi I have a series 3 1977 2 and a quarter petrol and would like to change the distributor cap and leads and fuel filter etc put looking through manual I can't find if its a Lucas or duc any one advise me would be great cheers

Never seen a ducellier sorry but a Lucas 25d has a little advance retard knob and a round cap, Lucas d45d has a more squared cap. Do a Google image search

Not an infallable guide, but the lucas dizzy usually has a black cap and the ducelier has a red one. or look in

pdf Land Rover Manuals | Landroverweb.com

for the drawings.

The Ducellier dizzy has the condensor monted on the outside of the main dizzy boby and the Lucas type have the condensor on the inside with the rotor arm.
Hope this helps, I had the same problem with mine.
