I've drilled and grooved discs and EBC pads allround as I was getting bad fade with the standard discs and pads on the road especially if towing the trailer on backroads.
They are a disaster for off-roading though. I've went through two sets of pads in less than 12 months. Granted, I've done about 20K in that time but the discs fill up with mud and grit and wear the pads alot after offroading.
Have solid discs and cheaper pads on my offroader.
Even though, they aren't ideal for offroading... They are still well worth it on my 110 though so if your doing both alot of road driving and greenlaning, I'd go with them. A good wash at the end of a days laning or driving through a freshwater ford or river helps alot too.
