That's a lucky find!

Love E30 BMWs, I put a 325 lump in my old 320 and turbo'd it running on megasquirt. It was silly quick!

Now it is almost rust free.

I changed glow plugs in 12V preheater. Each glow plug consumes 300W. For testing purposes I used only 2 of 4. Engine needs half time to heat up. It works better than I expected, but I still need some more measurements.

Very interesting modification. I do like it :)

Hi there,
Nice job you have done there - brilliant
I have a question.
My disco is 3 doors as well and i need to remove side panel to de-rust and weld it. One following from front door to the back of the car.
I have undone all of the bolts and screws but there was no way to move it. I have noticed a resin between metal work. Is it a case of cutting it free from the glue?
Or is there a hidden trick?

Cheers

Yes you need to cut the sealant to remove the external panels, also make sure the upper two screws/bolts are undone too.

Hi, I'm still alive! :D But I have absolutely no free time to rebuild my Disco, even to post there.
