the blower motor is in the cab behind EVERYTHING! you have to remove the entire console, dash etc to get to it. That's why I fitted an auxiliary heater in my cab when mine packed up.Is the blower motor in the cab or under the bonnet?
Fair point, I'm just gonna put up with it mi thinks.:mines been making a noise for about 5 years.... either a dry bearing or a bit of twig...... mines worse on slow but usually goes quiet on high, then after a bit on high its quiet on low.... i keep an old towel to wipe most of the condensation off the inside of the screen then use the blower to finish drying it off...ive just learnt to work round it cos i dont enjoy pulling dashboards apart.. if yours moans all the time try turning the radio on to drown it out...but to be honest i think i prefer the noise from the blower to most of the stuff my teenagers want to listen to.
Hi Barmatt, The heater in my 200tdi is knackered too, something to do with a large amount of water flowing through it. I am interested in the auxillary heater you fitted, could you give me some more info on this?
