Hi, Right i seem to be having a few problems, i will start with the symptons.

On lpg it misfires at around 1500 revs and it loses all power on hills, its a zavoli multipoint just been serviced.

On petrol it has an intermittent running from cold, just misfires lots and no power, now going to sound strange but from we can work out it only starts doing this if its had a full tank of petrol in it and is starting to get to half empty, and if you go and open the filler cap this problem disappears.

Also my mpg is around 6-8 mpg


Right fault codes:

P0447 - Purge canister vent DM-TL Module ( level with 0.5mm (cant remember the rest)

P0453 - fuel tank pressure sensor maximum value exceeded

P0172 Fuelling Adaption ti Multiplicative Minimum value not reached


P0300 Misfire multiple Cylinders

P0301 Misfire cylinder 1 Emission something

P0301 - Misfire cylinder 1 Cat damage something

P0302 Misfire cylinder 2 Emission something

P0302 Misfire cylinder 2 Cat damage something

and thats the same for all 8 cylinders

These are from the petrol ecu, when i had the gas serviced the bloke said that he couldn't get the 02 sensors or evap system to reset their values??

Now its a row spec low compression v8 that a previous owner put in uk spec ecu with lamba sensors and cats which it didn't previously have.

Can anybody please help???

The gas system has been running too rich and the engine ecu has weakened to compensate you EEC to have the engine ecu faults cleared the Afm tested
And you properly have leads or a faulty coil as well
The ecu could also be set on the wrong map for the car
