hmmm. an update if anyone is still following this. I put some new wheels on it yesterday and now I am getting clunking noises in turns and when slowing down... The wheels defo not catching in a straight line... Seems every time I jack it up I have issues after! Confused!!

check lock stops and adjust if needed

I'd say prop uj mine was really bad when I let off, when your jacking it up are you doing it on the axle's or chassis?

Another update! I had a the friendly lot at T Johnson have a look at it and among other unrelated stuff it was concluded that my front prop shaft was now too short after the raising of the suspension putting pressure on the UJ. Although the UJ and prop shaft were fine perhaps the extra pressure is causing the grinding noise??

cant be too short after raising suspension ,is there nothing left on prop slide as this would effect diff bearing or t/box bearings

Oh yeah, the clunking was loose wheel nuts. Some ar@eh£ole had undone all the passenger side ones... Basta£@! That's what you get for having issues with the neighbours!

Apparently so. I guess the extra angle has increased the length a bit. Wide angle jobby on the way as soon as I can afford!

UPDATE! I have just had a new clutch and release bearing fitted and now no grinding noises!! I didn't expect that but assume it must be related in some way. Plenty of other suspicious noises to go!

UJs still going strong.

Thanks.
