Im in desperate need of a 300tdi discovery 10 spline rear diff!

there isnt such a thing all 300 tdis have 24 spline diffs unless some one has fitted an earlier axle

That must be the case then, can i fit a 24 into the same casing? If i have a 10 spline on the front will it cause any issues?

the 10 and 24 spline diffs are interchangeable apart from half shafts wont fit from one cto another

Im aware about the half shafts

Are the ratios any different between the 10 and 24?

no they are all the same 3.54 ,unless series which are 4.7 you can have 10 in the front and 24 in rear etc

The back is definately 10, ill have to wait till tomorrow to pull a front shaft, if the back was changed it was the whole axle that was changed!

you cant simply pull a front to check youd have to unbolt chrome ball or strip the wheel station down
