I have been advised that Disco window motors will fit a1988 Lotus Esprit. The type I require has an 8 tooth pinion & cast gearbox (as opposed to the plastic) version but I cannot accurately identify the right part number. I think they are RTC3820 & RTC3821 or RTC6641 & RTC6640.

Can anyone please provide definitive information? ebay advertisers usually only differentiate between 200 and 300 series, but I don't think that will guarantee that I get the right motor.

From memory I think the part numbers you have quoted are for Land Rover Discovery's upto 1994 which I think have a greater number of teeth

Part No: CUR100440 & CUR100450 are for the later 300 series Disco's and have fewer teeth but i will grab some out the box tomorrow and check for you.
