hi every 1 my disco td5 wont start when its been left for a couple of hours go to and turn it on and the pump wines like there is air in the system but once going it goes normall i think... any body got a clue what this could be ??? be glad of help thanx

It sounds like your diagnosis is correct. All you have to do now is find where the air is getting in. Time to start checking the connections.

This was exactly the same as ours. Turned out to be the injector washers and o rings. Not too bad to do but I did not have the time so a local garage did a very good job on it.
Get the oil and filters changed as well as you will find that there is diesel in the oil. Also get it done sooner rather than later as ours ended up cutting out every couple of miles before we found the solution.

hi checked oil this morning no diesel in oil ????

There may be very little in the oil.
As I say sounds like you are in the 'early' stages of this (if this is your problem) as you will end up with VERY difficult starting and then cutting out.
