Hi guys,
Iv got a 2003 td5 discovery and it started leaking fuel!!! It only leaks when the fuel pump is pumping so no leaks when engine is off (once fuel line dumps all the diesel first).
I can just see the connection it's coming from from underneath, it's above the fuel tank (see picture). I don't know if that's been a temp repair in the past or is it supposed to be a flexi pipe in the bend.
I had a mechanic have a look at it and he said I need a new fuel line and it's the one that runs to the engine, it comes as a kit with 2 lines together and costs £300odd that no including his labour. Does this sound right or is there an easier/cheaper way??
That price seems a bit excessive when it's only a hose and clip that last leaking.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Any way thanks in advance guys
