I have a disco which I can start on the key stop on the key and the RADIO works !!!!!! so who do I thank first or the most

WELL ALL of you for being there to help out where I needed it, I found the solenoid valve behind an electronic thingy magig which is now in a field about 100 meter away from the workshop ! when I cut the three wires one had a small white line which when the ign is on became live at 12v so this went to the solenoid and bingo the disco fired up straight away!!!! happy days are here again I can clean my car and just use the jalopy on the farm.
Mind you https://www.landyzone.co.uk/members/neilly.57186/ never mentioned about the hardness of those two said screws (and what a PITA to get a drill into them! but the trusty old 90* drill attachment purchased did the job

A very big thank you to you all for your assistance to the demented gnat......

Good news and well done, and great result.

Cheers

PS, Why do I get blamed for not telling you about the difficulty of removing the two screws??:confused::confused:

Err I'm old and can be subject to blank plank moments where my fingers will do stuff my brain has no idea why and from this I would assume my mistake in the post Sorry if I sort of blamed you though the screws were APITA but are NOT there now lol

So I take it from your previous post that the solenoid was Kapput?

Do you have to stall it now to stop it?

Still a good result, LOL

Cheers
