The illuminated gear indicator labels on my 4 speed 300tdi auto shifter are badly worn, making them almost illegible. I have been searching but can't find them or a part number (other than an entire assembly BTR9926LNF). Anybody have a genuine or non genuine solution?

They were not listed as a replacement part so no part number, unlike the early RR but that selector was different.

Your question has be asked before and the suggestion then was to make you own replacement as an owner did and then someone started selling an over lay display label in the US (pic attached) as it was a long while ago, I expect they are unavailable now.

Anyway after a time you shouldn’t need a display, I don't look when selecting from P the clicks puts you in D forward one click in N two is R, I don’t look with a manual box either :)
