Got my Disco 3 (3 weeks now) and delighted. I could not find any info. on how the tyre pressure low wanting system works in the handbook. (i have put intermediates on - not the regular road tyres which came with the new vehicle. Anyone kindly enlighten me? I have heard it said that the electronic stability and traction (and suspension) system is so good, that it can take a good few miles before you realise you have a serious puncture - so I'm curious to know how it works.

As far as i know disco 3 does not have tyre pressure monotoring as yet as the bofins at LR still cant get it right yet,and the if you change your wheels it wont work as the transmitter for the tyre pressure monitoring is built into the tyre valve about the size of a small fag packet, the tyre pressure ecu sends out a signal to each valve in turn which is coded and the ecu will then know what wheel is going down but as yet they cannot perfect this hope this helps tiga.
