Im going to relace my Disco2 TD5 in the very near future. Im looking at either a 57 plate Disco 3 or a 57 plate patrol. The patrol and Disco are both Diesel and both below 20,000 miles Patrol is £13,000 Disco £8,000 more! Which is the best vehicle for expedition and daily use all comments appreciated!
 
does this question even need asking??? lets break it down!

the LR is designed for expeditions etc (G4 etc)

the nissan is a SUV designed to go no further off road than tesco car park

if you want a vehicle for expeditions get a defender tdi 200 the parts availability world wide is second to none
 
Are you for real?

You ask on a Landrover forum whether a Nissan is better than a Landrover ... You can probably guess the answer ....
 
i drove a patrol once it made me realise how it must feel to be dead cause the further i drove it the more my soul was dying

then a couple of days later i drove a defender 130 and my soul was saved
 
Drove son in laws patrol in Oz, jacked up, big wheels, bull bar and tow ball - not sure what the tow ball was for, it was a gutless slug (3.8 diesel)
