OK Guys what would you do I got a disco 200tdi to break for parts for my 1972 series 3 lightweight. Yes I`m sure the pure`ists out there will burn :flame: me at the stake for that. I wanted the engine gearbox & diffs But after looking at disco chassis is solid  yes I was shocked to all it needs is two sills can make them out of 4x2 box section & a boot floor less than £60 delivered plus its had a recon engine less than 2 years ago new radiator new discs pads springs shocks its clean inside & out oh! ye needs new front bumper but make that out of box section again SO WHAT WOULD YOU DO BREAK IT OR FIX IT 200tdi`s are getting hard to find cheap & I got this one cheap

If it’s as good as you say I’d be inclined to do it up and sell it, what you make off an up together vehicle you should be able to buy the bits you need and have change.

IMO "Keep a landrover on the road" don't break it; repair it; sell it and use the money on the Series! That is what I would do.

Looks like you guys think the same as me fix it 200tdi`s are getting rare. I should have know`n I could not buy a 200 that I could break for spares oh! well welding job to do guys I do green roading with my TD5 disco so thinking Might put lift kit on 200 & use the 200
