I did do a search prior to posting but I could find no ref to discovery 2 only disco 1 which is where your suggestion takes me back to where it clearly states "for disco 1 only"
Now if it is that 1 and 2 are the same then fine but I have no idea which is why I was asking for a bit of help...I to am sorry I even bothered and SEAN you seem a really bright chap you are obviously the backbone of this website
Hi
I was wondering as to what size wheels I can put on my discovery 2 (04) without having to make any other mods to it.
The current set are 255 65 16.
Any recommendations for an all terrain tyre would also be appreciated...thanks
Ps
do discovery 3 wheels fit a 2?
Thankyou all for some great answers.
At the moment I only go on the road but my tyres are getting low on tread so to give me a half fighting chance off road I thought all terrain would be a wise move for when I do try out my local 4x4 sites. Foss I bet Morocco was fantastic. How much in ball park terms did your trip cost. Did you go with a company or off your own back.

Sorry to butt-in, but on the subject of Morocco, I was there with a pal October 2008 and had a wonderful time.
Our total trip costs were 880 euros each. That includes everything, fuel ferries, accomadation the lot. Off course we were camping most of the time, but that adds to the magic in my book.
If you want to know more, have a look at the humyo link in my sig.
Incidently, on the tyres front: BFG AT's or General AT²'s and you'll go anywhere in Morocco.
That was a great read and thanks for sharing and can I also say how well written it was.
Funny thing is I have the same colour disco almost looks like it was me out there.....hmmm now wheres my mates number.....
Generalisation I know, but we found the people in the south of the country much more friendly than in the north. Expect to see REAL poverty.
