Just joined and hope someone who has found solution can help.
2002 model sat for 2 years.

Battery replaced but wont start.

Central locking not working from key fobs.

Immobiliser light on display.

Key locks/unlocks in drivers door, but when entering alarm sounds.

I have read the handbook and threads on here and suspect I need to enter EKA code.

The code is 3EOE (assume its O not zero?)

I understand the process and that E=x14 turns but O would be x24?

Does this sound right?

Appreciate any help :)

Thanks

Let me rephrase that now I am sat down,

No such thing as O in Hex and how do you enter a 0 ( Zero ) into the car door lock? I have tried in the past and it did not work.
But that sure looks like a Zero on your card.

Cheers

It's a mistake, looks like O but it can't work like that... as i said try it as D and if no joy contact a main dealer cos they'll give it to you FOC

@martin_uk

If I was you I would call the Local R dealer and ask them to confirm that code. If you are lucky they may give it to you over the phone. Buut normally they require proof of ownership.

If for some reason you cannot get it from the LR dealer, then for £20 you can get it online.
All this is OK if someone has not previously changed it for an easy to remember number.

Cheers

Hi Martin, If there is someone near you with a Nanocom (and your NOT imobilized) then the code can be read for you.
HTH,
Griff

Tried using O=24 turns and D=13 turns but no luck :-(

Will check with dealer to see if I can get code from their system.
