Battery state? Earth issue? Not sure what the symptoms are of a tripped inertia switch, but I would reset it anyway. I assume you have checked for oil in the red ECU plug?

Search for discovery 2 my 99 to my 03 electrical library and circuit diagrams 00 my rhd which will describe and show which cicuits fuse 24 supplies.

weird one came out after my tea, keys in ignition, fog lights on!! turned ignition on they went off, no temp light on now either, does anybody think there is a bad earth somewhere?

Took plug\connection out of the back of the alternator, what a struggle to do that, put new fuse in, re connected battery and she fired, still no throttle! Let her run as the blow air sus back up, then suddenly it stopped, looked at fuse 24 and it had blown replaced it and it did too, least it is looking level, so at a loss again,

So the alternator is ruled out, F24 is connected to the autobox ECU on autos and engine ECU too, if your's is auto unplug the autobox ECU and see then if still blows then the ECM is suspect

manual gearbox,
since i have had it,(January) it will be lucky if it has done 15 mile,
renewed a few parts,
ignition /steering lock to get on fob key
new in tank pump
new wiring harness,
had gearbox out new clutch etc,
then i have welded inner pass wing, so stripped out,
under bonnet fuse box out, battery tray out, headlight etc
total strip for rust proofing etc,
new battery

also had fog lihghts come on again rocked relays etc under bonnet then went out, then came on again, dont go off when you turn ignition on, go out when lights were turned on, could it be ignition harness? indicator stalk etc?

Much rain up where you are ? Or damp air in the mornings ?

Might be condensation starting a short across the back of the fuse/relay board ...

well the car has stood with bonnet down, not closed !. no interior in, doesnt leak in as sunrrof done and was not wet before, i have steamed it off ages ago, has been raining lately! where hasnt it? lol

As long as F24 keeps blowing with alternator unplugged and it's manual the problem is on that circuit to the ECU or the ECU is fubar, you should rule it out
