I ordered one from island 4x4 just to make sure I'm not stranded for a long time. Worth getting a new maf also or guessing if the car is still running rough the maf isn't an issue.

personally,i would not fit anything like that, unless it was oem, especially the harness.but needs must i suppose, good luck anyway.;)

Ordered up a maf off eBay also thanks for the link. But with all the issues I've had do you guys believe it's all down to the harness and the maf

Mike at Dynachip went on and on about the need to use a genuine MAF, he said you can get away with a few after market sensors but not the MAF, when he remapped my 110 my one was on it's way out due to the fact that it had a K&N air filter where the oil that's used on it had started to corrode the sensor, so I have ditched the filter and use standard paper ones now.

As long as its a VDO Siemens one, that's what was installed at the factory, some of the newer boxes don't say Siemens on them but still have the VDO hologram they are still the same unit, just Siemens no longer are involved with VDO, should come in a grey box with VDO printed on the side.
I only know all this as I have bought 3 of them in the last month, first one I sucked a load of water in through the intake and destroyed it, then ordered a replacement and promptly stood on the bloody thing, and the third one I actually installed without drenching it in water or standing on it.

meanwhile check fuse F2 in engine bay fusebox just to rule it out, but didnt those guys with the tester read live data from the MAF output or injector balances with engine running?:(... cos simply reading the fault codes is half of a job... or if the tester they used was a generic one you can't even rely on those fault codes.

Once the car is at mine it will have a ovd on it to check all the data compared to that of the rac. Fuse F2 is related to what now

was Biggee able to help?

I did offer Nanocom by text last night but I wasn't available till after 1pm today, but not heard anything, so presumed everything was ok. (First I've been on here today)
Probably could have got a new harness from Gemm 4x4 earlier today.
