hi could anyone tell how to remove the bottom bush on front shock absorber after last weekends rear air bags and sensors failed mot on track rod end and this bottom bush help gratefully accepted kev ps had rear suspension calibrated in week £39 inc which i didnt think was to bad

You have to remove the shock. Old one presses out (or falls out :) ) and the new one presses. You will need some deep sockets or length of tube so that you are pushing on the bush and not the cross piece that bolts to the mounting point.

hi do you mean you have to remove shock from vehicle if so how hard is that or is it possible to remove bush while on vehicle regards kev ps sorry to be a pain in the butt

^^^^^ the guide on discovery2.co.uk is pretty much the same way as I was trying to discribe.

I have the benefit of a press so slightly different :)

.....but yes, remove shock from vehicle first.

thanx very much for your help worked a atreat i think i must realy get a manual but i find it a bit easier when people steer you in the right direction regards kev
