So with the disco 3 down I fired up the disco 2 and was pottering round in that for all of.... 3 hours .

Started struggling as if it had no fuel.. fuel gauge read half full.

She gave up... Got 2 fuel cans of fuel put them in.... Managed to get fuel to the engine and now it just won't fire up... Nanocom said MAP sensor fitted a new one... No luck... Also threw another MAF sensor of my donor disco2 while I was there. The MAF was a brand new part.

Any ideas?

How?? did you run the 5 throtle purging trick completely untill the EMS stopped flashing then cranked it without throttle? if yes measure the battery voltage while cranking, if it drops below 10.5V it willl happily crank but hardly start
