Hi yesterday I left the car running on the school field for 5 min whilst dropping the kids off, when I got back to the car the rear right bag had inflated fully so the car was leaning, I drove off the field and plugged haukeye in, rear right sensor faulty, played on haukeye and dropped that side so I could go to work, at work I changed the sensor for a second hand one that I had got, car was level but when I turn the ignition off bothbags drop fully with in a few seconds, when you start the car the bags come up but the warning light is flashing on dash, iI've put a new sensor on tonight and the car did the same, haukeye said no faults I can operate compressor and both bags on haukeye, but when you take the computer off it goes down, after checking several times I got a fault compressor over run, then no faults, when the ignition is turned off you can hear a valve opperate by the compressor and that's where the air goes, then when it dropped on the stops it wouldn't go up again, I lifted both bags with haukeye and disconnected the wires on the solinoids and it stays up, computer says no faults after deleting them but light is on all the time,

You should recalibrate heights anyway cos if the old sensor was open circuit it's the same likw if the battery was not disconncted ... with hawkeye you need to support the body with two jacks when the vehicle is at even level all around and follow hawkeye's calibration protocol untill the end ... the jacks are instead of calibration blocks cos i doubt you have those

Hi I've followed your instructions and things have changed, car sits level when running, when I turn engine off and get out of car the exhaust valve let's a bit of air out and then stops, when I start car compressor runs for approx 5 seconds and stops, the warning light on dash comes on instantly when car starts and flashes for about a minute then stays on, haukeye says fault 4167 event on duration compressor, if I delete the code, it says no faults, then when I start the car the warning light comes back on the same as above, the off road switch when pressed lights the up symbol and beeps once then goes off cheers phil

That's normal behaviour utill now

Which warning? the SLS or the ORM? cos that looks exactly like when ORM is switched on

btw did you fit some lift kit without using extensions for sensors?

That's the SLS warning lamp and it's not supposed to flash ONLY if a SLS remote is used to lower/raise the rear so if you dont have a SLS remote which can be accidentally pushed and left in the vehicle then IMO it's a SLABS ECU missbehaviour... untill you rule it out you can set it to coils with hawkeye while it's on good level cos if there's no leak it will stay this way for weeks

I've changed the ecu, had to put vin number in and calibrate seems to be working fine, warning light goes off straight away and the orm works to, thank you for your help, cheers phil
