Ok here one for you, been doing my rear chassis/ body mounts this weekend and although that went fine the tow bar mounts on the chassis sheared the bolts when I removed it.

I have tried knocking them out after stacks of Plusgas and even tried heat but all to no avail, it's the same both sides, my next move is to cut off the mounts from the chassis and form new one's, unless someone here has a better idea :)

Good quality drift. and a big hammer I've had the same problem with the first disco I ever owned.

grind em off and weld on a new tube section - make sure your weld is good as it is an mot item

At least I ant the only one that is having the problem..........,

Dont feel hard done by, your not alone....... BIG CLUB HAMMER on Saturday me thinks.

Must admit I'm with bmp42 and cut them off, i have one more thing to try which is drilling them out starting with a small drill and working up to the bolt size, if that fails it out with the grinder :)
