sorry for delay in replying he needs to stay in his chair,
i would like to make the offroader so he can drive maybe dual control i have been looking into fitting a winch to the top of the role cage with an arm that swings out to lift his chair and him into the passenger side.
or a ramp at the back but then you have to get the chair into a position where he could drive.
am i barking mad and heading in totally the wrong direction if you have any better ideas let me know

could that sort of arrangement work for your lad?

how hard/easy would it be to make this in a LR do you guys reckon?

I believe that they can be fitted to Discoveries.

and (not an engineer so the answer might be glaringly obvious) why could the same mechanism not be used to lift a wheelchair in?

the door opening wouldnt be wide enough and the roof would have to be removed if you intended to put a person in the wheel chair
